Meet the African Wild Dog (Lycaon pictus) — one of Africa's most endangered and extraordinary predators. With a coat as unique as a fingerprint and a hunting success rate of 80%, this animal is in a league of its own. 🐕‍🦺
They live in tight-knit packs of up to 40, care for their sick, share every meal, and raise their pups together. Pure teamwork. Pure nature. 🤝
Sadly, only 6,600 remain in the wild. Tanzania's Selous Game Reserve or Mkomazi national park are the last strongholds where you can still witness them roaming free.
