The Great wildebeest migration 🇹🇿
Did you know the migration can be seen from space. The massive herds are so dense that satellites can detect them.!!
Every year, around 1.5 million wildebeest, accompanied by roughly 200,000 zebras and 300,000 gazelles, move through the Serengeti Ecosystem and the Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of fresh grass and water. They don’t have a fixed start or finish-they simply follow the rains in an endless loop spanning nearly 1,000 km (620 miles).
