While you're inching through traffic, these lions are stretched out next to our safari vehicle like itâs just another sunbed. No fences. No zoom. Just pure, wild trust.
But how is that even possible?
Lions see our vehicle as one big, non-threatening creature. As long as everyone stays seated and calm, they usually couldnât care less that weâre there. Weâre not prey, not predator â just part of the landscape.
Itâs one of the wildest things about being on safari:
Youâre not watching nature from a distance.
Youâre in it. Quiet. Respectful. Amazed.
And sometimes⌠a little too close for comfort (donât worry â your guide has it under control).
