Zanzibar is a simple and amazing trip.

Yellow Fever Vaccine is mandatory vaccine for people arriving from all over the world.

I chose an agency package with all inclusive and resort, so everything was easier.
I recommend excursions with local guides:
they really know the island and their work supports the communities.

If you can, bring a small suitcase with children’s clothes or school supplies.
Outside resorts poverty is real: mud villages, dirt roads, children everywhere.
It’s not a dangerous destination, but on the beach the beach boys can be persistent: it’s part of the context.
