From Italy to Tanzania, these four days in Nyerere became much more than just a safari for me and the whole safarimojamatata team. 🇮🇹🇹🇿

There were incredible wildlife sightings, long drives, plenty of laughs, the children getting excited at every new moment, and of course that unforgettable leopard sighting at the end.

But what I enjoyed most was how naturally the journey came together.

At some point, it stopped feeling like I was simply guiding guests through Nyerere. We were all enjoying the safari together — sharing the excitement, the conversations, the quiet moments, and every surprise the park gave us along the way.

To Francesca, Ferdinando, the children, and everyone who shared these days with me, thank you for the trust and the beautiful energy you brought to the journey.

You came from Italy as guests, but by the end it felt like I was saying goodbye to friends and family.

You rise with the first light, drifting quietly above rivers, plains, herds and tiny safari tracks below. From up there, you start to understand the scale of the landscape in a completely different way.

A balloon safari isn’t about rushing toward the next sighting. It’s slow, peaceful and a little surreal — just sunrise, open sky and the wild moving beneath you.

And when you land, breakfast in the bush somehow tastes even better.
