There are so many incredibly beautiful places on Earth where you can pause, breathe and reflect on how blessed and fortunate we are to be alive at this exact moment on this extraordinary blue planet we call home.

One place that distinctly stands out where you truly feel that sense of gratitude for life - all life - is while on safari - particularly in the Serengeti National Park. It’s hard to find the words to accurately describe the depth of the feeling.

As you watch elephants move gracefully across the plains, lions sunbathing on the rocks, hundreds of wildebeest moving as one, along with giraffes, zebras, hippos, rhinos (and so much more) in the endless horizon you’re reminded of how small, but connected we ALL are.

A safari is so much more than a trip - it’s a return to something primal, something soulful and something very real.

We are going on our next Safari in Tanzania this August 9 - 22 and we can’t wait to go back!

We specifically chose to go in August this time around so we could be there to witness the Great Migration - one of Earths most spectacular natural events! It’s during this time each year that thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle try and make the treacherous journey through the Northern Serengeti and across the Mara River.

We have just 3 spaces left so if you’re feeling the call to experience the magic of the wild and reconnect with the Earth in a way that stays with you forever please let us know!

We’ll help you get prepared and be there to ensure your comfort every step of the way!

You can read all about our August Safari in Tanzania on our website.

There’s something about the Taj Mahal at sunrise that never loses its magic no matter how many times you’ve been.
And trust me, we’ve done this more times than we can count!

Arriving in the quiet of early morning, before the huge crowds, there’s a softness in the air. Slowly, as the sun begins to rise, the marble of the Taj Mahal shifts from cool gray to soft pink to glowing gold.

It almost feels like it’s coming to life right in front of you.

The Taj Mahal is probably the world’s most magnificent representation of love, loss, devotion and grief.

The Taj Mahal was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal and took 22 years and over 20,000 workers and artisans to build - using white marble from Rajasthan and precious and semi-precious gemstones from various regions.

Mumtaz Mahal was not just Shah Jahan’s wife - she was his trusted companion and confidante. She traveled with him, advised him, and was deeply involved in his life and court. Tragically, she died at the age of 38 while giving birth to their 14th child. (Six of their 14 children survived)

There’s definitely an emotion here that’s hard to explain - something you don’t just see, but feel.

Each visit is a little different—the light, the sky, the energy—but the feeling is always the same: awe, stillness, and a quiet reminder of how powerful love can be.

Let us know if you would like to join us next time! March 2027!

There’s something incredibly special about witnessing a place of devotion that feels both new and timeless at the same time.

Standing here at the newly built Ram Temple in Jodhpur, you can feel the intention behind every detail - the craftsmanship, the reverence, the quiet sense of peace that seems to settle in as you walk through the space.

Temples like this aren’t just structures… they are expressions of faith, community, and centuries of tradition carried forward into the present moment.

The Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir Jodhpur reflects an extraordinary level of detail and devotion—where every carving, every pillar, and every space is created with purpose.

It’s peaceful. Grounding. Inspiring.

And even if you’re not familiar with the traditions, you can feel that this is a place where people come to connect with something greater, with themselves, with others and with a sense of stillness that can be hard to find in the busyness of everyday life.

India has a way of offering these moments where spirituality isn’t something separate from life but woven into it.

Our adventure begins the moment we leave the road…

Bumping through the desert in jeeps, heading deeper into the high dunes of the Osian desert just before sunset -
And then… we meet our camels.

I won’t lie—when the camel first begins to stand up, it’s a little scary!!
Once it’s standing and you realize how high off the ground you are it’s a bit unsettling, but then something shifts…
You relax, find the rhythm, and begin to sway gently with each step.

And before you know it, you’re fully present—taking in the golden light, the silence, the vast beauty of the desert at sunset.

These are the moments you never forget

Towering above Jodhpur, Mehrangarh Fort feels like something out of another time.

Initially built in the 15th century, by the Rajput ruler, Rao Jodha, with construction continuing into the 17th century by his successors.

Its massive stone walls and intricate details tell stories of strength, royalty, and resilience - while the views over the “Blue City” below are simply breathtaking.

The English writer, Rudyard Kipling, described the fort as “a palace that might have been built by Titans and colored by the morning sun.”

This is why we travel.

To stand in places like Mehrangarh Fort—where history, beauty, and perspective all come together.
Where every doorway, every carving, every view invites you to slow down and take it all in.

Just outside the bustle of Jodhpur sits Jaswant Thada—a serene marble memorial often called the “Taj Mahal of Marwar.”

Built in the late 19th century in honor of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, its intricately carved marble almost glows in the sunlight, creating a space that feels both peaceful and timeless.

Jaswant Thada is more than a memorial—it’s a place to pause, reflect, and take in the quiet beauty that surrounds Jodhpur.
Delicate marble, peaceful gardens, and views that invite you to slow down and just be.

With 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars (each one unique), this sacred space is a quiet reminder of the beauty that comes from devotion, intention, and patience.
