The breathtaking sight of the morning sun rising, lighting up the snow above Africa at Stella Point and glaciers on the final ascent to Uhuru Peak, the rooftop of Africa. Kilimanjaro towers at 5,895m a.s.l over Tanzania as the highest free-standing mountain in the world. ❄️

✨ Superb starlings are basically the “fancy sparrows of Africa” ✨

Just like sparrows in Europe, these colorful birds are everywhere in East Africa — hopping around hotels, gardens, and picnic spots 🐦

But instead of plain brown, they show off brilliant blue, green, and orange feathers that sparkle in the sun.
