Fly or drive 2hrs to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive. Known for huge elephant herds + baobab trees.

*Day 2: Tarangire → Central Serengeti/Seronera*
Morning drive, then fly/drive to Seronera Valley. Afternoon game drive. Seronera = best spot for lions, leopards, cheetah year-round.

*Day 3-5: Central Serengeti → North Serengeti/Kogatende - 3 Nights*

Full days tracking the Great Migration herds. July-Oct the 1.5M wildebeest + zebra are in North, attempting dramatic *Mara River crossings* with crocodiles. Game drives at sunrise + sunset.

*Day 1*: Marangu Gate 1,870m → Mandara Hut 2,720m
Hike through rainforest. 4-5hrs. Monkeys + birds.

*Day 2*: Mandara Hut → Horombo Hut 3,720m
Moorland zone. Giant lobelias + views of Kibo. 5-6hrs.

*Day 3*: Horombo Hut → Acclimatization day
Hike to Zebra Rocks 4,000m then back to Horombo. Helps your body adjust. 3-4hrs.

*Day 4*: Horombo Hut → Kibo Hut 4,730m → Uhuru Peak 5,895m → Horombo Hut
Summit night! Start 11pm. 6-8hrs up, 4-6hrs down. Sunrise at Africa’s highest point. Sleep at Horombo. 11-15hrs total.

*Day 5*: Horombo Hut → Marangu Gate 1,870m
Descend through moorland + rainforest. 5-6hrs. Certificate + transfer to Moshi.

*Day 5: Buffalo Camp → Third Cave Camp 3,870m*
5-6hrs. Traverse northern side. Less crowded, 360° views.

*Day 6: Third Cave → School Hut 4,820m*
4-5hrs. Alpine desert. Early dinner + sleep before summit.

*Day 7: School Hut → Uhuru Peak 5,895m → Millennium Camp 3,820m*
12-14hrs total. Summit at sunrise. 6-8hrs up, 4-6hrs down. Longest day.

*Day 8: Millennium Camp → Mweka Gate → Moshi*
3-4hrs down. Finish, certificates, transfer to hotel.

*Why Northern Circuit 8-day wins*: Most gradual ascent + highest summit success rate ∼95%. More days = better acclimatization.

“Unforgettable 7-Day Machame Summit - May 2026”

Just did the 7-day Machame route with Exceed Expectations Tours in May and hit Uhuru Peak! The ‘climb high, sleep low’ acclimatization was perfect.

Guides were professional, food was way better than expected, and Barranco Wall was epic. May weather was dry + clear summit views. 10/10 team. If you want to summit Kili, book with them.

5-Day Mid-Range Safari: Tarangire → Lake Manyara → Serengeti → Ngorongoro

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport, drive to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive for elephants, baobabs, lions.
Stay: Bougainvillea Safari Lodge or similar near Tarangire.
Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Morning drive to Lake Manyara. Known for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, baboons, and the groundwater forest.

Day 3-4: Serengeti National Park
Full days in Central Serengeti for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and wildebeest. Overnight in a mid-range tented camp inside the park.

Day 1 – Serengeti National Park
Drive 6-7 hrs from Arusha/Karatu via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Afternoon game drive in Seronera, the park’s wildlife-rich central zone. Overnight: Camping/Mid-range/Luxury lodge. Full board.

Day 2 – Serengeti Full Day
Full day in Central Serengeti during wildebeest/calving season. Focus on big cats, herds, and open plains. Overnight: Camping/Mid-range/Luxury lodge. Full board.

Day 3 – Serengeti Game Drive
