The Lemosho route is considered the most scenic trail on Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers scenic views all throughout the trail. Lemosho route is one of the newer routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a superb choice for your climb. It is our preferred route due to its ideal balance of low crowds, beautiful scenery, acclimatization and a high summit success rate.
The 8 days Lemosho Route starts off on the western side of Kilimanjaro. On the first day of your hike, you will pass through a dense rainforest that gradually thins out as you continue climbing. By the second day you will be able to spot the summit of Kilimanjaro glistening in the distance. On the third day, the route joins the Machame Route as one approaches the Lava Tower. Lemosho Route can be taken in 7 days but the 8 days itinerary offers you an extra day for better acclimatization thus increasing your chances of reaching the summit.

Arrival at the Airport and Pick up
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International or Arusha airports you will be received by Alerics Tanzania Safaris team and transferred to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha. Depending on your time of arrival, you will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel or exploring the town of Moshi/Arusha. In the evening our team will meet you for a detailed briefing about the oncoming hike.
