The Safari began with tourists in the truck,
The first animal seen was running amuck,
Lions roared as they drove near,
Hyenas laughed as they approached from the rear,
The hippos swam along their way,
Crocodiles sat on the shore where they lay,
Zebras galloped in the open plains,
Cheetahs were sleeping where they remained,
A newborn antelope explored the world anew,
As the meerkats looked out and enjoyed the view,
The elephants trumpeted as they roamed,
The bright sun sets and sends the tourists home.
