Mauly Tours was founded in 1983 by Salim and Shariffa Mauly, who were born in western Tanzania and who came to Moshi to establish their home and family. From the beginning, Salim and Shariffa worked to deliver professional, friendly and innovative service. At its inception, Mauly Tours was the only company in Moshi doing airport transfers. In 1985, Salim passed away, after which Shariffa single-ha
ndedly took the reins of the fledgling company. While raising her four daughters, she also travelled around the globe to promote Mauly Tours. Under her capable leadership, Mauly Tours grew to become one of northern Tanzania’s most respected operators.
