Feb 4 to 7, 2027 we’re heading to Canada’s Northwest Territories to watch the Northern Lights from heated tipis at Aurora Village. 7 spots are open right now, and Kayla is hosting this one.

What’s included 👇
🏕️ Heated tipi accommodations built for sky-viewing the Northern Lights each night
🥾 Day activities are dog sledding and snowshoeing
🍽️ Group meals
👯 A group of likeminded women

To ensure you get a spot on this winter escape you need to book before July because Aurora Village books up well in advance for the February window, and we can’t guarantee you a spot on the trip after that.

To book the Aurora Village they require payment, therefore partial trip payments will be due in July, exact date TBD.

Comment “tipi” and my bot will pop into your DMs with everything you need 😜

Want to do a multi-day hike but no idea where to start?

Forget what you’ve been told about needing perfect fitness and top-shelf gear before you can start. Building up to a multi-day hike is about a plan that adds confidence one weekend at a time, starting from wherever you are right now.

Swipe through for the basics: how to train, how to test your gear before it matters, and how to know when you’re ready 👉

If you want a deeper structured walkthrough, our Trail Ready course covers all of this and a lot more. Link in bio if it sounds like what you need 🥾

Your trip plan is THE most important part of your adventures.

A well-made trip plan sets you up for success, so let’s put it all together 👉

Get your body used to moving.

Start with short hikes close to home, and build up the mileage as you go.

Remember that you can always turn back, but also that if you’re doing an out-and-back trail, by the time you decide to turn around you still need to do that same amount of mileage to get back to your vehicle. Always play it safe and turn around before exhaustion gets you.

Start with 10lbs in your pack and hike with it several times.

Then add 5-10 more.

Don’t increase the weight every time you go out. Give your body time to adapt.

Camp in your (or a friend’s) backyard to test everything out!

A couple things you’ll never know about until you use them is
1. Is your tent waterproof/does it have any holes? And
2. Will your sleeping pad hold its air through the night?

Finding these out at home where you can just go inside is muuuuch better than finding out on the trail.

Start small again! If your biggest day hike is 10km/6 miles, don’t do two 10km days back-to-back.

Start with half the amount, then start building up again. Do several back-to-back hiking weekends before moving on to the actual overnighter!

The point is to do it, not to suffer. So don’t push yourself too hard or too far!

Another great way to get out backpacking sooner (ie. cut down on how many back-to-back day hikes you do before actually backpacking) is to pick a trail that totals the max distance & elevation you’re comfortable hiking in a day so that it’s split up over two days.

Picture this 🏔️

You, kicking off your summer by hiking alongside turquoise lakes that look surreal with a new group of friends. Hanging out at camp every evening watching mountains do that thing they do at golden hour. Feeling on top of the world after completing a via ferrata (no climbing experience necessary). Finishing it all off with at the to soak your sore muscles, still surrounded by gorgeous Canadian peaks.

We’re going to Banff from July 27 to August 1 and you might not know anyone going into it, but trust me when I tell you you’ll leave with a tight-knit group of friends that you just can’t wait to see again on the next one.

Plus, a done-for-you itinerary so you can just show up and enjoy the Canadian Rockies in all their glory.

1 spot left and registration closes June 7.

If your weekend is for daydreaming about where to go this summer, daydream on this one.

Comment “bighorn” and my 🤖 will pop into your DMs with all the details 😜

Somewhere on Mount Hood, a group of Wild Women stopped mid-hike to appreciate these gorgeous wildflowers.

I think a lot of people see the highlight reel photos of bucket-list hikes and think that hiking is just about the view at the end, but it’s moments like these that really make you appreciate the hike.

That’s the thing about getting outside, you think you’re going for the summit view but you keep coming back for everything else along the way.

This photo is from a multi-day backpacking trip that someone of the women in our Oregon community organized and went on last summer, and it’s still one of my favourites 🥰

What if you finally made this the summer you became a hiker? 🌸

We have one spot remaining on our Yellowstone trip, July 8-12, and registration closes Monday May 19th.
That’s only 5 days away!

If you’ve been sitting on this one, this is your final nudge.

Yellowstone is one of those places that gets under your skin. Geysers erupting on a schedule older than anything you’ve ever seen. Bison wandering across the road like they own the plac. The kind of sky that makes you feel both very small and completely free.

Five days. A small group of women. A national park unlike anywhere else on earth.

One spot left. Link in bio to our travel page to register before Monday 🦬

Most on-trail backpacking mistakes can be corrected before you even hit the trail.

The biggest mistakes are made in the days before you leave (or skipped over entirely because nobody told you they mattered)

I see these five come up again and again, especially with women who are newer to backpacking.

Swipe through, save this, and share it with anyone you know who’s planning their first trip. 👉

The good news? Every single one of these is preventable. Backpacking doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to be intentional.

Your safety contact, your route, your water filter, your layers. These aren’t extras. They’re the trip.

Drop a 🙋‍♀️ in the comments if you’ve made one of these (we’ve all been there). And if you’re working toward your first backpacking trip and want support, our free community is full of women doing exactly that.

In fact our annual beginners backpacking trip is coming up in a few weeks!

If you want to fast track your learning, our online hiking and backpacking course Trail Ready will get you there.

The Patagonia trip page is officially live, and if you’re a registered community member, your early access to register is open!

Here’s what we’ve built for you:

Eight days in Argentine Patagonia.
El Calafate and El Chaltén.
South America’s autumn, which means vibrant fall colours, fewer crowds, and the kind of light that makes every photo look like it was staged 😏

The highlights:
🏕️ An overnight at Fitz Roy Camp: pre-pitched tents, sleeping bags provided, dinner in a dome tent.

🌅 A pre-dawn hike to Laguna de los Tres, arriving at the viewpoint just as the sun hits the granite spires of Fitz Roy. The turquoise glacial lake. The golden light. The silence.
This is the moment I redesigned the whole trip for.

🧊 The Perito Moreno Glacier: a boat safari past floating icebergs and the option to strap on crampons and trek across the blue ice itself.

🥾 Four incredible hikes across the region, ranging from moderate to challenging. This is a trip for women who want to MOVE (and who want to be moved)

And for the first time ever: this trip is co-ed.
Wild Women can come solo, with a partner or spouse, or with another Wild Woman.
Note: men must be accompanied by a woman, add your partner while booking

Spots are limited to 12 travellers.
Members get first access today, the link is in the email I just sent you.

Public registration opens Friday May 15th.
Check the comments for the link!

Eight women drove to Pinnacles National Park 2 weeks ago.

They set up camp, hit the trails, and spent three days doing what this community was built for: showing up, moving their bodies, and connecting with other adventurous women.

This is our community in action. No experience required. Just a willingness to show up.

If you’ve been looking for your people, they’re already here. Link in bio to join for free. 🌿
