Mount Kilimanjaro Trekking-Marangu Route.

This trek takes at least 5 days, but if you want to actually make it to the summit take the offer of additional acclimatization day and make it 6 days.
The first day of climbing leads through dense rainforest, your first overnight will be at Mandara Huts.
The second day, once you leave the Mandara Huts there is a last patch of forest, called “monkey forest” overnight will be at Horombo Huts. If you are taking extra acclimatization day, you will be staying here for two nights.
The third day you reach the Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo, after 5-7 hours of walking time you reach destination for your last night before summit bid, the Kibo Huts.
The fourth day you will be setting out on your trek to the summit sometimes around midnight, some people manage to make it to Uhuru peak in time for sunrise.
If you make it to the Point the park authorities will reward you with a certificate for climbing Kilimanjaro. After that people were turn back to the Marangu gate.
