Looking to elevate your stay in Moshi before your trek? Join our Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Excursion, just 15 km from town. Guided by our knowledgeable female guide Josephine, you’ll hike through vibrant Chagga coffee and banana farms to the 80 m Materuni Waterfall (about a 40‑minute trek), take a refreshing swim, and then return to a family run farm. There, Josephine demonstrates the full traditional coffee process from picking ripe cherries to roasting over an open fire, grinding by hand with song and dance, and finally enjoying the fresh brew you helped create.
