The Greatest Show on Earth isn’t in a theatre. It’s written in dust, painted with sunset skies, and performed by two million wildebeest and zebra. Witness the raw, untamed drama of the Serengeti Great Migration—a testament to nature’s relentless rhythm. This is more than a safari; it’s a front-row seat to planetary wonder.

Crucially, the migration is a year-round, circular journey. The most dramatic river crossings are a highlight, but the spectacle changes location monthly.
🗓️ The Migration Calendar
· December - March: Southern Serengeti & Ndutu Region. Calving season – lush plains, predator action, and thousands of vulnerable newborns.
· April - May: Central Serengeti to Western Corridor. The “long rains” period. The herds move northwest, often in massive, photogenic columns. (Note: This is green season; fewer crowds, great value).
· June - July: Western Serengeti & Grumeti River. The first major river challenge. Herds gather and cross the crocodile-infested Grumeti River.
· August - September: Northern Serengeti & Mara River. PEAK CROSSING PERIOD. The world-famous, dramatic Mara River crossings. This is the most sought-after experience.
· October - November: Moving South. Herds begin their journey back from Kenya’s Maasai Mara into the rejuvenated plains of the Serengeti, completing the cycle.
