DAY TRIP TO MANDARA HUT IN MOUNT KILIMANJARO VIA MARANGU ROUTE.

MARANGU GATE (1860M)

TO MANDARA HUT (2720M)

the Marangu Gate on the eastern side of Kilimanjaro, register with the national park,and begin hiking at 9:30 AM.
In the rainforest,look for towering Eucalyptus trees,bird life,and Colubus monkeys.At these lower elevations,Stop halfway for lunch,and reach the Mandara Huts at 12 or 1 PM.Unpack,rest,20 minute side trip to Maundy Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya and Moundi Crater you see good vew of Mountain Kilimanjaro.

Ready to dive into Paradise?

Chemka hotsprings,This lovely mineral spring is fed by groundwater from Mount Kilimanjaro.

The Chemka Hot Springs are located in Chemka town,which is roughly 40 kilometers from Moshi district.

They are warm water springs that are subterranean.The water creates a crystal-clear pond that is perfect for swimming.

The pond is incredibly deep,up to 10 meters in certain spots,but the water is so pure that you can always see the bottom.
The pond is nestled amid beautiful woods.

You can camp by the shore, eat your snacks there, and hang out there after swimming to dry off.
