Next up in our "meet the team" series is Manase S Kessy!

Manase has been part of the SENE family for over 10 years, working as a porter and server. What he enjoys most is the support it provides, along with fair wages and accommodation.
When he’s not helping our guests on the trails, Manase is busy expanding his craft as a carpenter. He likes to start his mornings in his carpentry workshop building out his projects. As a home base, Manase splits his time between Sakina in Arusha and time with his 3 children in Marangu.

Asante Sana Manase!

More behind the scenes from our recent trip with 23 climbers, as part of our ongoing partnership with . This was a special visit, combining trail running as part of the Kili Trails Festival, to a cultural experience in the Masaii village, to a 4-day safari, and finally a summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Everyone came back safe and smiling, supported by 82 crew members from SENE.

We love to show our guests the true Tanzania, combining sport, sustainability and local culture. Visit link in bio to learn more about SENE and our trips πŸ”—

Next up in our 'Meet the Team' series is Shabiri Kyonda!

Shabiri has been working as a porter for SENE for over three years. Outside of work, he also farms his own food for consumption, particularly maize.
He lives with his family of four in Ugweno, located in the Mwanga District of the Kilimanjaro region.
His daily routine is spent on the farm from morning until evening, and he one day hopes to expand his work into a business.

Asante Sana Shabiri!

Next up in our 'Meet the Team' series is Daniel Mungure!

Daniel has worked as a porter for SENE for more than two years, and likes working for the company because of the fair treatment between workers.
Outside of being a porter, Daniel also works in mobile safaris, and lives in Maji ya chai with his wife and two children.

Off the mountain, his daily routine involves visits to his working site where he has two plots aimed for construction.

Asante Sana Daniel!

It takes a team to reach the summit, and a community to protect it.
For many years SENE has partnered with Leave No Trace to support sustainable initiatives and trail clean up. Last year our crews managed to collect over 120kg of trash!

Small actions create big impact, and together we keep the mountain clean.

From Kilimanjaro climbs to Trail Running Festivals and Safaris, it has been a busy month at SENE.
Last week 29 climbers and 78 crew members all returned safely from Kilimanjaro and celebrated a 99.9% summit success rate!

Several guests continued on for an 8-day safari trip to relax and refresh, while others explored the trails and foothills as part of the Kili Trails Festival.
With the visiting groups ranging from 5 to 23 people, we are happy to accommodate experiences for groups all sizes. Congratulations to the crew and climbers!
