Super Happy to be back to Bhutan

The Snowman Race, known as the world’s toughest ultra-marathon, is set to return for its second edition. This year, the race begins in Laya on October 24, 2024, during the second day of the Royal Highland Festival and will conclude in Chamkhar, Bumthang on October 28, 2024.

Inspired by His Majesty The King's vision, the event aims to bring attention to the challenges of climate change and encourage action. Bhutan is especially vulnerable to climate impacts, facing issues like landslides, unpredictable weather, and a changing ecosystem.

Covering 195 kilometers in five days, the Snowman Race sheds light on the effects of global warming on Bhutan’s fragile highlands while marking a new chapter in sustainable tourism.
