Eco-Africa Climbing does not do cheap Climb, cheap climb means we are doing tourism while exploiting our Porters who are the ones who make Kilimanjaro tours possible for the vast majority of climbers, and who do all the heavy lifting. Fair and ethical treatment of our porters (crew) is one of the important priorities of Eco-Africa Climbing when we do climb.Eco-Africa Climbing has begun the qualification process to become a Partner with the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project (KPAP). Earlier today, Charlie conquered the famous Barranco Wall, headed to Karanga Camp for lunch, and then continued to Barafu Camp — the base camp for the final push to the summit.
Tomorrow morning, he will begin his summit attempt toward Uhuru Peak at 5,895m. We wish him all the best as he takes on the final challenge! 🙌🏔️

Today, Charlie completed his acclimatization hike to Lava Tower before descending to the spectacular Barranco Camp. A great day of hiking, gaining altitude, and allowing the body to adjust before the next challenge.

After successfully reaching Uhuru Peak yesterday, Team Rhiannon officially checked out of Kilimanjaro today! 🇹🇿👏

The adventure concluded with a well-deserved farewell lunch, a heartfelt tipping ceremony with our amazing mountain crew, and the presentation of Kilimanjaro summit certificates to celebrate their incredible achievement. 🏅🥂

From the first step to the Roof of Africa and back down safely — what a journey! Huge congratulations once again to Team Rhiannon and our entire mountain crew for making this adventure unforgettable. ❤️🏔️
