Thank you all for the recent likes and following. I just messaged Abudallah and it slipped my mind how he and others are so reliant on tourists for business as well as to feed his family.
I hope there is some form of support for people who will be struggling to meet basic needs.
Below is his message, if anyone knows anyone in zanzibar who can support him and his family in any way i would be grateful. He has not asked for support, however its good to have some when the time comes.

Thank you christine, we pray to God, to finish this desesterml bcase yet we have few cases in Zanzibari, and most Of those cases the victims are tuorist that they come here to visit, But in Zanzibari now its really very difficult, we depend tourism for 80%, and now even the hotels is closed. You can just imagine hw the situation in Zanzibari is. Thank you so much for the reminder, always privention is better then cure. Wishing to you all the best.

Welcome to those who have recently found this page, I hope those who have used Abdallah would leave a review or feed back.

Sometimes it works out cheaper not using a travel agent, and this is where Abdallah comes in. I used him when I travelled from zambia by train all the way to zanzibar. I felt safe and reassured knowing I had a taxi service I could call almost any time. Someone who is trust worthy and isn't trying to hike the price up for foreigners to make money off of you.

Abudallah was so helpful and made my stay so relaxing. I can only hope that I can help assist him gain more clients and help him build his finances.

Zanzibar is certainly a place to visit...hope to return soon.

Abudallah runs a taxi service in Zanzibar. He is knowledgeable, honest and friendly. This is his only means of income for his family and himself. I created this page for Abudallah as he was so helpful to me in zanzibar when I went with my 2 very small young children. As some may be aware theres always someone trying to get the better of you or charge you more than they should with taxis. However, not Abudallah. He really deserves for his business to grow, he will advise anyone new to zanzibar of the best local places to visit or eat.
When I first arrived, he drove us an hour from the ferry to our hotel and left. At around 9pm we realised the hotel was not as advertised and had mold and damp in the rooms. I called Abudallah and he hurried back late at night. He helped me find a hotel and without him I would of been stranded and my holiday would of been spoiled. The hotel he found was a reasonable rate and absolutely what I needed.

****ANYONE WHO DISCOVERS ABUDALLAH THROUGH FACEBOOK PLEASE DO TELL HIM SO WE KNOW IF THIS IS WORKING FOR HIM AND HE WILL CHARGE YOU AT A SLIGHTLY LESSER PRICE 😊

Abudallah is the best taxi service i have found in zanzibar and the only one id ever use. I met Abudallah for the first time 2 years ago when a family member had previously used his taxi service.
Having come a long way from the uk to Zambia then took a train to Tanzania with two very young children, it was a bit daunting. However, once on the ferry having already contacted Abudallah in the UK I had his number and knew someone was waiting in Zanzibar.
When we arrived he was very welcoming. He took us on a long drive to our hotel (worst hotel ever) we could not possibly stay there it was really uninhabitable. Abudallah at 11 pm drove an hour to pick us up and suggested a few known hotels. We booked into the new hotel, had it not been for Abudallah no doubt i would of panicked and stressed. After exploring near by beaches we called Abudallah and he took us to stone town where he gave us a trusted tour guide. This friendly gentle man helped me carry my children at times and bags of food and the baby bag. The tour guide took us to the best spots in Zanzibar as well as the unknown hidden gems and also got us the best prices (if you don't already know often foriegners are always over charged) our tour guide helped us with this and we even got a good price on a little boat to take us to prison island.
I have no link to Abudallah apart from wanting to support his family, him and his business grow. I have created this page in support of him, however, it's most importantly for those looking to travel to Zanzibar and enjoy this island with ease and comfort.
Looking to link those travelling to Zanzibar to Abudallah who I found very handy and helpful. He has now become a family friend.
