It’s been a while since i’ve posted anything. But it’s time!!! After more than a decade of amazing memories and more international friendships than I can count, and for which I am eternally grateful........ KATz Volunteer Adventure has taken on a new direction. Kelvin and myself have gone our seperate ways and I have re-branded and headed off on my own path with a new business partner. (You’ll find kelvin..... still smiling - of course!! at his bar 101 - am sure he’d appreciate sone love on his social media pages 🙂).
I am super excited to announce my new baby.......... footprints worldwide. To all our amazing supporters and past volunteers I invite you to continue following my journey on the new pages Footprints Hostel Arusha Tanzania and footprints by the sea on Facebook and footprintshostelarusha on Instagram. We still Offer many of the same volunteer projects in Arusha but we have a brand new house in sakina (whilst also continuing on with our Maasai Boma accommodations). We still offer safaris, treks and tours in Arusha but we’ve also expanded our reach within the country offering comprehensive travel advice and service packages throughout Tanzania. AND we now have some amazing new (one row back) so ‘almost’ beachside accommodation and volunteer projects on the majestic Island of Zanzibar, specifically the East Coast in Paje. And........ spoiler alert 🚨🤫 we might be building some floating accommodations in Stone Town, Zanzibar - to be completed later this year! 😱
I wanted to take a moment to thank every single person who I have had the honour of crossing paths with on this journey that started with me as a newbie volunteer on African soil for the first time in 2008 - where my love affair with this amazing country began. KATz will always be with me as the company that led me on this wild and crazy adventure and allowed me to call Arusha home for the past decade. I am super pumped to move on and create new adventures with my new business partner and many of the team who have supported us over the years. I invite you all to continue to be part of the journey by following my new business pages. And so..... when one door closes.......
