Day trip to Selous from Zanzibar

The Selous Game Reserve is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000 km2 (19,000 sq mi) and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature.

This day trip to Selous from Zanzibar is tailored mainly for people with no much time to go on Multi day tours like two days, three, four or six and decide to go on a day trip to Selous.

Here is the sample plan for a day trip to Selous:

Hotel Pick up 04:00am

Flying Time: 45-1hr

Flying back time: 16H00

You will be picked up from the hotel at 4:00am to the Airport which is an hour and thirty minutes for a morning coffee while waiting to board the flight to Selous accompanied with lunch boxes for a stunning game drive. Upon arrival you will do a full day game drive up to 12:40 and break for lunch and later proceed with safari until 15:45pm drive to the Airstrip to board a flight back to Zanzibar.
