A very good tour, on arrival we were met with a glass of Champagne and a lovely big breakfast, on our tour drive we saw Hippo's, Rhino's, elephants, lions and Giraffe's as well as ostrich, Gnu, eland and springbok, halfway through the tour in a cool area the tour company had set up a table with ice cold soft drinks and champagne a very civilized idea, when the sightings were over we went back to the main building for a delightful lunch, I would thoroughly recommend this tour
Very wonderful tour, despite the distance to get there. Saw the Big Five and was very much worth the effort. Tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable.

Leaving the Dar es Salaam City and its busy harbor behind, your first airborne view is the Bagamoyo Fishing Village, unfolding in front of your eyes. Return to Arusha Town along the opposite side of the mountains, via the beautiful mount of Kilimanjaro and the southern suburbs. You’ll conclude your journey back at the heliport at the Arusha Town.

I’ll confess that when I booked in for a cycle down Ol Donyo Lengai Mountain, I thought it’d be a leisurely glide along a few winding roads. It is nothing of the sort – this is proper mountain biking and those signing up for it should be expecting some hard work. For a start, the tracks on Ol Donyo Lengai Mountain are quite treacherous. They’re fine for walkers, but on a bike you’re essentially riding the brakes down pretty steep screen slopes. Slow and steady without locking the brakes is the key – it’s very easy to fall off. The uphill stretches can be even tougher. Winds on Ol Donyo Lengai Mountain can be fiercely strong, and if you’re cycling into one of the howlers, it can be murderous on the thighs. Similarly, some stretches of track can be rather sandy – think swimming through treacle and you’re about there. But cycling down Ol Donyo Lengai Mountain is all about the challenge. It may be hard work – especially for a novice – but the rewards are worth it. The easier stretches are a delight to freewheel down, while the views of the city, the pine forests, the ocean and the mountain rarely drop below awe-inspiring.

Good tour, definitely a lot of work but well worth it. Views are great.

Ngorongoro sightseeing Tours

Take a scenic drive down to the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, part of the Ngorongoro National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This half day tour is the easiest way to see some of the most spectacular scenery in Tanzania, taking in the centerpiece and major landmarks of the conservation Area is the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, where you will discover a natural amphitheatre surrounded by step walls rising over 600 Meters from the carter floor.

Start your half day tour to Ngorongoro Conservation Area by driving along the rugged safari roads with its towering Ngorongoro Crater Mountains and Empakaai Crater. Soon, you will arrive in Oldoinyo Lengai, spectacular view of a still active volcano eruption, overlooked by the impressive snowy peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. From here, you will begin the spectacular lake shore drive along the world-famous Lake Manyara. This road hugs the near vertical mountain of Kilimanjaro.

Arriving at Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will make your way down to Ngorongoro Crater. This rocky mountain is a natural for some 30000 animals including the big five of buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino. You will have the opportunity to walk to the old Maasai Boma and learn the cultural activities of these peoples.

Returning from Arusha City you will follow the town road along Arusha Town, through the historic German House. You will then have the chance to stop and view the Olduvai Gorge, the site where in 1959, Dr. Louis Leakey and his wife Mary discovered the remains of what was regarded as man’s first step on the ladder of human evolution (at own expense). Then pass through then popular holiday resort, of Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge before return to the Arusha Town City Centre.

Mountain Splendor -The Kingdom of Pare
Location: Northern Circuit
Leave Arusha Town and travel through the Moshi Town to Southern Pare Mountains. Hop into a four wheel drive vehicle and enter Southern Pare Mountains via the, where you will visit a Pare Village and interact with the locals of this neighborhood. Travel to Pare Village for lunch before returning to Arusha after a full day of exploring.
You will make an early start, meandering through the Maghimbi of the Southern Pare Mountains Village and on to the little town of Moshi. Here you board a four wheel drive vehicle, the only means by which to tackle the Southern Pare Mountains. Visit the Maghimbi Caves, secret hiding place during the slave raids - and beyond that, the Malameni Rock, the scene of human scarifies to appease evil spirits up until the 1930s.

You will visit a traditional Pare village and then enjoy lunch at one of the beautiful local restaurant, which has incredible views of the pass, before making our way back down the mountain.
