St. Mary's Church (Gdańsk)
The construction of the 105-meter high church lasted from the middle of the 14th century to the beginning of the 16th century. On the bell tower there is an observation deck with views of the historic center of the city. Inside, there are beautiful works of art from the Middle Ages - stone Pieta, an astronomical clock, an altar, built at the beginning of the XVI century. The locals consider it a miracle that the church was almost unscathed by the fire in 1945.

The construction of the cathedral was completed in 1397. Basilica of three naves is built in Gothic style. One tower of the church is topped by a pointed spire, the second by a helmet. The tallest tower is 82 meters. The interior of the church is decorated with stained glass windows and works of sculpture and painting. The main decoration is the altar, which is 13 meters high. It is carved from linden and combines Renaissance and Gothic elements.
