📍 Teleborg Castle🇸🇪
Teleborg Castle rises beside Lake Trummen in Växjö, Sweden, looking like a medieval fortress despite being built in the early twentieth century. Completed in 1900, the castle was commissioned by Count Fredrik Bonde af Björnö as a romantic residence for his wife, Anna Koskull. Its dramatic towers, battlements, and stone walls were inspired by historic European castles. Rather than serving as a medieval stronghold, Teleborg represented the fascination with romantic architecture that swept Sweden during the era, preserving a glimpse into aristocratic history.
