Winners of Guest Ukrainian Hospitality Awards 2015 are now announced!
On 7.12.2015 Kiev hosted one of the most significant events in the hospitality industry of Ukraine this year – Guest Ukrainian Hospitality Awards – that once again underlined the variety and high quality of Ukrainian hotels, that participated as nominees and those that won awards in their segments.
Arktur DMC is happy to provide the list of 8 hotels were announced as winners of Guest Ukrainian Hospitality Awards 2015 :
“Senator Apartments Maidan” in Kiev became the best apart hotel in Ukraine in 2015. The hotel offers 42 apartments with fantastic view of the central Kiev being available from those of them, located on the 6th and the 7th floor.
“Premier Palace” hotel, Kiev, was awarded in the nomination “The Best Marketing Campaign of 2015”.

Fairy-tale «Chocolate House» in Kiev reopened for excursions

«Chocolate House» on 17/2, Shelkovichnaya street in Lipki region of Kiev – is a former mansion of famous merchant and philanthropist Semen Mohilevtsev, constructed in 1901 by talented architect Vladymir Nikolaev and called by Kiev citizenry as “Chocolate House” for its special color and rich facade décor. The house was built on the territory , that belonged to barons Ikskul-Gildenbandt and was sold to Mohilevtsev in 1898.
The interior décor and design of the Mansion are very unique, having no analogues in Kiev, and, thus, are very valuable from the architectural and artistic point of view. Its décor combined various historical architectural styles , that gave names to Mansion’s main halls : Mauritanian, Renaissance, Modern, Rococo, Byzantium, French.
Ceilings and walls of the halls of the Mansion are richly decorated with painting, modeling and wooden panels. The authentic venetian style mirrors, carved doors and windowsills, frames of façade windows, casted staircases are amazing. Modern Hall still preserves old stained glass windows.
Our excursion to “Chocolate Mansion” in Kiev and its neighboring houses in the Lipki region will bring you lots of positive emotions and new interesting information.

Days of Culture of Bessarabia in Lviv
We would like to invite you to visit Lviv on the 17th and 18th of October , when Days of Culture of Bassarabia will take place in Lviv.

Ukraine is a very large and creative country in terms of art, life and cuisine. Sometimes people from different regions are not familiar with the traditions of their neighbors. Moreover, today it is vital to know and understand that.
Ukrainian Bessarabia is an area on the South of Odesa region. Natural conditions and multiculturalism are two the most important features. Ukrainians. Bulgarians, Moldavians, Albanians, Jews and many other nationalities friendly coexist there. This formed the cultural diversity of that area.
During the festival, music and dancing groups from around the Odessa region will perform and exhibition of life of different ethnic groups that live there will be open. Lviv citizens and guests can taste cuisine of Bessarabia. The highlight of the culinary duel will be hominy and banosh at Rynok Sq. The concert program will last during 17th October at Rynok Sq.
18th October at 12:00, the event will be continue at “Holodnyi Mykola” restaurant (352 Stryiska St.). Ivan Plachkov, one of the famous representative of Bessarabia will make Bessarabian dishes.
