Bosnia & Herzegovina: Great Legacy Trail

22 August 2026 – 29 August 2026: several saddles available with free airport transfer.

Highlights:

• Krenica Lake ride over hay fields with amazing views and wildlife such as rabbits, wild ducks, pheasants, birds
• Famous “Old Bridge of Mostar” and a tradition of jumping into the river from a height of 25 meters
• Matica river route used for National endurance Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2010
• The wild horses of Livno visit, 1000 horses wild area
• Roman tombstones and the old watermills
• Traditional family wine story and wine testing
• Horses bred by the owner

It’s center-based ride with 6 days in the saddle 3-5 hours daily.

Rider Weight Limit: 95 kilograms / 210 pounds.

Tack Type: English, Australian and Western tack (riders can choose).

From 1750€ all-inclusive

The host has been declared the most successful athlete of the questrian Sports Association and Olympic Committee of BIH several times and she competes dressage, showjumping and endurance. It’s not a holiday stable but high standard equestrian yard. You can also take jumping lessons on site.

I watched this adventure on the National Geographic as a teenager and thought that never such an ordinary person as I am can join the team. Now I’m offering this to the riders from all over the world.
