Why are these pillars covered with white ?

This area, on the side of the King Abdul Aziz gate in Masjid Al Haram, is believed to have been the location of the house of Umme Hani (رضي الله عنها). It was from here that the Prophet (ﷺ) was summoned by Jibraeel (عليه السلام) and taken to Bait Al Maqdis in Jerusalem. This incident is known as ‘al-Isra’ (the night journey). Umme Hani (رضي الله عنها) was the cousin of the Prophet (ﷺ) and the daughter of Abu Talib.

A short video and explanation on how the new procedures for praying in the rawdah is. The rawdah which is also know as Riyadh Ul Jannah 'A garden of paradise' as mentioned in hadith the Prophet mentioning that between my mimbar and the house of Ayesha which is now the final resting place of the Prophet pbuh is a garden from paradise. This for me was an experience I would never forget.. it was totally calm and very easy to navigate and pray without being rushed or pushed. The guards allow upto 10 mins to pray your salah and make any supplication and then ask you to leave which is fair. I just hope and pray that we see the full capacity of these blessed place. In shaa Allah you are all invited to visit these places. Ameen
