UNDERSTANDING OMUSINGA MUMBERE'S STATEMENT AGAINST THE BARBARIC ACTIONS OF HIS YOUNG BROTHER KIBANZANGA.
His majesty Omusinga Mumbere Charles Wisely Iremangoma Kithwa thalumwa nzoka has issued a stern warning statement to the general public to desist from dealing with his young brother Kibanzanga in matters and functions related to the kingdom.
This warning comes barely a month after the lion of Rwenzori had issued a letter to his same young brother informing him of how he had been stripped off his title as chief prince following the behavior he shown during the death and of their late mother Christine Mukirania.
Kibanzanga had organised a thanks giving and "omughaliko" (ritual of distributing the dead person's belongings) for their fallen mother tomorrow Sunday (21/07/2019) which was to be held at Nyamirangara in Muhokya kasese district.
In a nine minute audio recorded by the Omusinga himself, he warns that anybody who may from now till further notice deal with Kibanzanga on behalf of the royal family for anything and this function in particular, will have done so at their own volition.
"There is no valid burial ritual of Nyamukama which can be done without the presence and consent of the heir, I am the heir and whatever is done behind my back is null and void"
Omusinga said.
"I don't expect any loyal Rwenzururu subject to attend that function organised by a disrespecting, insurbodinate and a shaming "member" of the royal house, it can only be attended by his unserious peers who are only looking for survival and favors from him in form of money"
Omusinga further asserted.
Omusinga further warned whoever may risk to preside over that function saying they would most likely face the consequences.
"Anybody who will sneak into my mother's house and "steal" out her properties to distribute them and he who will accept to receive them, both would be regarded as thieves and would face the consequences in future"
Omusinga asserted.
He concluded by calling upon all the Banya'rwenzururu to ignore Kibanzanga and his barbaric actions that are aimed at dividing the kingdom but instead focus on peace and unity.
After listening to this I remembered some funny Lukonzo saying that if the mother of the kid has said the kid be buried, then who would you be to say they should bury you with the kid?
And In this case if someone's elder brother has seen that his bad and not worth dealing with, then who am I to continue dealing with him?
The Dream Team however continues coming for and in peace because the peace we wanted yesterday is still needed today, tomorrow and forever in the Rwenzori where my story begins.
