This morning, Uganda Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and his counterpart from the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Rt. Hon. Tomio Okamura went for the gorilla tracking expedition at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Tayebwa said the experience is a reminder to all Ugandans of the importance of protecting nature, especially the endangered species.

To celebrate Rt. Hon. Tomio’s visit to Uganda, one of the baby gorillas was named “Tomio,” the English equivalent of his name, Thomas.

Today A Close encounter with the Chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park in Uganda 🇺🇬.
