Greetings once again from the Pearl of Africa – Uganda!

We’re thrilled to bring you the next episode of our 14-Day Uganda Safari with our wonderful guests from Spain. The adventure has been non-stop, and every day has gifted us moments of discovery, connection, and unforgettable memories.

Last time we checked in, we were at the majestic Murchison Falls National Park—Uganda’s oldest and largest park—where our visitors were captivated by the thundering falls, diverse wildlife, and sweeping savannah landscapes.

So, what happened next? Let’s dive into Day 3!

We hit the road early in the morning, heading southwest towards Kibale National Park, famously known as the primate capital of Africa. Though the drive is long, the journey was far from boring—lush green tea plantations, scenic banana groves, charming villages, and stunning countryside views kept us entertained and in awe the entire way.

Upon arrival in the evening, we checked in at our lodge and headed out for a warm cultural encounter in Bigodi village. Here, our guests were introduced to the art of banana gin brewing, traditional coffee roasting, and handwoven basket making. These community-based experiences allow our guests to connect deeply with local cultures and contribute to sustainable tourism—a core value of every Nungi Safari.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale!

After an early breakfast, we drove to the starting point of the chimpanzee trek. As always, our guests received a pre-trek briefing from the park rangers about forest etiquette and the importance of responsible wildlife interactions.

The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 5 hours, depending on the chimpanzees’ location—but luck was on our side! Our guests had a successful and emotional encounter with a troop of chimpanzees. It was a powerful moment that brought some to tears—watching these intelligent creatures in their natural environment is something truly special.

After the one-hour experience, we returned to the visitor center for a small celebration—a chimp trekking certificate ceremony! These certificates are not just souvenirs; they symbolize an incredible achievement: trekking the forest and meeting our closest relatives in the wild.

We wrapped up the day back at the lodge, sharing stories, laughs, and reflections on two action-packed days that left lasting impressions on our hearts.

I’m Back, My People! 🦁🌍

First off, sincere apologies for keeping you waiting for the next chapter in our ongoing 14-day Uganda safari adventure. Trust me, the wait will be worth it!

Day 2 was an absolute thrill as we explored the wonders of Murchison Falls National Park—Uganda’s largest and one of its most iconic wildlife destinations, also known as Kabalega National Park.

We kicked off the day bright and early with breakfast at our lodge before heading out for a morning game drive. And as always, nature didn’t disappoint! 🐘🦒🐃🦁

We were lucky to encounter a wide variety of wildlife including: Majestic elephants, Graceful giraffes, Mighty buffalos, Several species of antelopes, including the famous Jackson’s hartebeest And yes… we spotted lions too!

Our clients were overjoyed by the experience — every sighting brought excitement and awe, creating unforgettable memories.

Later in the afternoon, we switched gears and embarked on an amazing boat safari along the legendary Nile River, heading straight to the bottom of the thunderous Murchison Falls. 🌊🚤

While on the boat, we had even more breathtaking encounters: Nile crocodiles lurking by the shores 🐊, Pods of hippos basking in the water 🦛, Elephants quenching their thirst at the riverbank, And a variety of bird species that delighted our birding enthusiasts 🐦

We wrapped up this epic day with a sunset game drive and a calming yoga session back at our lodge — the perfect way to wind down and reflect on nature’s magic. 🧘‍♀️🌅

Greetings from Uganda – the Pearl of Africa! 🇺🇬

It’s been two action-packed days of non-stop adventure with our wonderful group from Spain, who are here for an unforgettable 14-day Ugandan safari experience with Nungi Safaris!

We kicked off our journey in Entebbe, where we welcomed our guests and hit the road heading far north toward Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, we made a vibrant stop at a roadside market to enjoy some of Uganda’s famously sweet fruits 🍍🍌🍎🍉 – and yes, Uganda truly has the sweetest pineapples on Earth!

As we continued through the Nakasongola plains, we made a memorable stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see wild white rhinos 🦏. Our guests were absolutely amazed by the up-close rhino tracking experience – truly a must-do when visiting Uganda!

By evening, we had reached Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda. Without wasting time, we headed straight to the iconic Top of the Falls, where the mighty Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge – a powerful and magical sight that simply must be experienced in person!

To wrap up Day 1, we enjoyed a short evening sundowner game drive, where we spotted majestic elephants 🐘, graceful giraffes 🦒, various antelopes, and beautiful birds like the hornbill. We then checked in at our cozy safari lodge, where a delicious dinner and a campfire under the stars 🔥 awaited us. Guests enjoyed sharing stories over a cold Nile Special beer, capping off a perfect first day.
