Lake bunyonyi located in southwestern Uganda is believed as the deepest lake in the pearl of Africa with the maximum depth of 900m, its location is about 2000m high (altitude) with the dotted 29 islands of with the smallest island on this beautiful lake is PUNISHMENT ISLAND ( Akampene)

This pretty lava dammed is your best choice for relaxing after or before Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable National Park! The allocation of this lake does not allow bigger waves to exist and this makes the waters calm for some of wonderful activities to take place like canoeing, swimming etc

Uganda is indeed the pearl of Africa with so many amazing different tribes with various cultures and some of which are so interesting and expriencial,

Some of the tribes that live in the far southwestern Uganda includes the bakiga, this tribe is well known as one of the most strongest tribes in the country with a unique culture, they’re also famous because of the mountains areas they do farming and other various activities from.
They grow different food crops which includes maize, potatoes, beans, peas, bananas, and sorghum seasonly. And sorghum is one of the main sources of polidge ( Obushera) that makes this triple more energetic and stronger,

This polidge at some stages turns into alcohol since during the process it farmented, from the time it’s processed, it can be taken as breakfast until to 2days and then from day3 it becomes alcoholic and it’s commonly sold in lake bunyonyi local bars since traditionally until now it’s still served in the local homes as a welcoming drink for visitors!
