Bwindi Impenetrable NP & Queen Elizabeth NP, thank you for proving to the world Destination Uganda!

The 82 years old & 81 Years old successfully trekked the gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable NP and moved on to QENP for a boat cruise safari & game drives.
Further on, we reached Nyakalengija, Rwenzori Mountains NP for assessment of future Mountain Hiking adventures.

We have a new member 🦍

Here’s the first mobile image of the world’s youngest mountain gorilla born yesterday (18th July 2024) to adult female Mukidebe of the Kahungye gorilla family in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. 📷 Tracker Elius

This new birth brings the number of individuals in this gorilla group to 16 members who continue to roam the forested hills of Rushaga under the leadership of Silverback Kasigazi. As is usually the case, the group was observed to be extremely protective of the young.

This exciting news is testament to the transformative conservation work that we are engaged in; pushing this once critically endangered species further away from extinction.
