During game drives in Kidepo Valley National Park (KVNP) in the Karamoja region in northeastern Uganda, what you will not definitely miss are the herds of buffaloes that can be seen grazing in their hundreds, and inside these large herds are smaller units of families or clans. A herd may hold 2,000-3,000 buffaloes.
