We have had so many great guests but these particular ones are so special have not had such an experience on a safari like this with them.

People this family is unique I remembered something from each of them Igor would make such intelligent jokes that you would get to understand in an hour or two 😹.
Monica was like the protector of the entire pack making sure everyone is okay. They have 2 so beautiful & intelligent daughters Maria and Nahia they are extremely informed about life and so respectful.

We can’t take this for granted you are all special.

This was such an awesome sighting where a Lion killed a mature Buffalo near by a river shore in Serengeti National park.

Not all rhinos have two horns; African species (like the black and white rhino) and the Sumatran rhino have two, while Indian and Javan rhinos have only one. For those with two, the large front horn aids in defense and digging, while the smaller rear horn provides extra structural stability and a backup if the main horn breaks

Today after an amazing game drive at Tarangire National park in Tanzania we witnessed a male elephant doing the best it can showing dominance in the national park as it refused to allow the tourists truck to pass.

These are common behavior that you will witness in the game parks when you come for a safari.

Uganda has declared FREE PARK ENTRY DAY - Actually 3 Days!

Dates: September 25, 26, and 27, 2026

Announced 6 days ago by State Minister for Tourism, Susan Nsambu Nakawuki while touring Murchison Falls and Ajai Reserve with UWA.

What is Free?

- Park ENTRANCE fees = 100% FREE - for EVERYONE - Ugandans and foreigners, no restrictions
- Parks included: All Uganda National Parks - but UWA is highlighting the 5 big savanna parks: Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo, Kidepo Valley, and Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve

What is NOT free:
Game drives and guided tours will be free during this period, but activities like boat cruise, nature walks, chimp & gorilla trekking permits, vehicle entry fees still require payment. So budget for the boat ($30) and your car.

Why is Uganda Doing This?

Government wants to revive tourism after the small Ebola outbreak in May (20 cases, 2 deaths). Uganda has now discharged its last patient and is in the 42-day WHO countdown to be declared Ebola-free. Free parks = proof that Uganda is safe and open.

The Minister’s funny quote: _“September 25, 26, and 27, we are opening up all game parks in the country. Come have fun. It will be free entry for everyone. Just come with some change to eat some fish“_

My Advice for You:

1. Book NOW - Lodges around Murchison & Queen Elizabeth will fill up for Sept 25-27. Locals are already booking.
2. If you want to do it: Let us organize a 2-Day Murchison Free Entry Special - you only pay for transport, accommodation, boat cruise and food. You save $45 per person per day on park entry.
3. If you want to avoid crowds: Don’t go Sept 25-27 if you want a quiet luxury safari. Go a week before.
