Rurambira Guides Association-RUGA RUGA was formed in November 2021 after AWF supported 10 youths from Rurambira Conservancy near Lake

The Association members after receiving training in Tour guiding and Interpretation with support from African Wildlife Foundation took it upon themselves to promote conservation within Rurambira Conservancy while offering quality guiding and Interpretation services about wildlife and the rich Ankole culture to the visiting tourists
