The same Sporting that beat PSG 2-1. PSG — the team that needed TWO red cards just to eliminate Monaco in the play-offs. Monaco, by the way, that same Monaco that City couldn't even get past themselves. 😂

So what are we really saying here?

Sporting also eliminated Bodo/Glimt. The same Bodo/Glimt that embarrassed City 3-1 at home.

Chelsea couldn't even score past Qarabag. Struggled to put away a bottom-table Pafos side.

Liverpool got disgraced by PSV. Disgraced by Galatasaray.

City needed a red card to beat Napoli.

And Arsenal are in the UCL semi-finals.

The only English team left standing.

Not because of luck. Not because of the draw. Because every team we faced, we beat.

We beat Bayern Munich, inter, Atletico Madrid on our way to this stage. Maybe if Liverpool, Chelsea and city focused on winning their group stage games, they wouldn't be sent home by now.

This is the bias. In plain sight. Every single time.

“To help this team out, no way I was missing a quarter-final to try and get to a semi-final. I was well enough to be able to go out there and play tonight, just a little illness and I'm over it now. So, yeah, on to Sunday.

Reporter: Do you take that upon yourself because the likes of Martin [Odegaard] and Bukayo [Saka] and Jurrien [Timber] are out at the moment and you see yourself obviously as a big leader on this team?”

Rice: “Yeah, definitely. I think we want them players back. We need them back. They are three of our biggest and best players and we've missed them a lot this year in big games.

“But yeah, like you said, if the game was yesterday, I probably wouldn't have been able to have played or the day before. But the fact that I perked up enough to be able to play, I knew myself and in my head that I was ready to go out there and play.
