Enjoy a Rwandan African tour

Rwanda, in east-central Africa, is surrounded by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Tanzania, and Burundi. It is slightly smaller than Maryland. Rwanda is a lush country of endless mountains and stunning scenery. The natural resources of Rwanda seem like a never ending one. It does not only give unique scenic mountains and spectacular lakes but falls and caves too. Musanze cave, which was believed to be made by a the most interesting and was used by the refugees before, is highlighted by a natural bridge shaped from Virunga Mountain’s lava flow. Furthermore, Rusumo Falls is a spectacular body of water that is part of the remote headwaters of the Nile River. Guests can witness this site while passing the boundary of Tanzania and Rwanda.

If only you visit the Virunga national park, you will have the opportunity to see gorillas family and the way their family is conducted ,the way a mother gorilla treats its baby,I assure you that it really cares like the human mothers do for their new born .These species are very few in the world and they only remain in this part of africa and the world. So Rwanda is the country which host them and spend its everything to let these human relatives live in favorable conditions.

The mountain gorillas within this country are some of the most interesting things Africa and the Great lakes region have. These species have many secrets they show when you approach them and learn about the way they live. They are highly relative to mankind so they are highly socials and live in a very related and stable environment , cohesive groups held together by long-term bonds between adult males and females. Relationships among females are relatively weak. These groups are non territorial; the silverback generally defends his group rather than his territory

Visiting local markets and introduction to the traditional dishes: The tour will continue with visiting a local markets where they sell local food stuffs; the environment in the market trains you on how to adapt to the African shopping environment where we don’t often have fixed prices and hence need to learn/ acquire the bargaining skills and convince the seller to provide lower or good prices which is quite interesting because you mutually reach a price or compromise on the price in a friendly manner and at times, it develops and bonds the friendship amongst community members. There’s no exploitation in the market because you have a right to compare prices with other sellers or markets etc. After the market experience, local Rwandese women may equip you with the knowledge and skills relating to the Rwandese traditional dish preparations right from peeling, traditional packaging in banana leaves, preparation with different local spices etc until you eat or served your own food. The visitors get historical information about the food taboos previously practiced within our cultures and the current respected norms related to eating etc.

Take a time to tour Rwandan historical cites ,some of the most interesting in Africa .
All within the African great lakes region,in Rwanda , the heart of Africa.

Explore magnificent creatures in the DR of Congo

The Democratic Republic of the congo inside the heart of Africa is one of the most interesting countries the African continent has ever had, regarding the nature of this country ,this alone can let it be considered like another continent for it holds the diversity of theAfrican flora and fauna. This country is beautiful and attractive with its most interesting part that covers hundreds and hundreds of marvels.
Telling about interesting things that we find in this country ,it is like describing another continent .

Starting by the amazing Okapi Wildlife Reserve .This contains a flora of outstanding diversity and provides refuge to numerous endemic and threatened species, including one-sixth of the existing Okapi population. The Reserve protects one-fifth of the Ituri forest, a Pleistocene refuge dominated by dense evergreen « Mbau » and humid semi-evergreen forests, combined with swamp forests that grow alongside the waterways, and clearings called locally « edos » and inselbergs.
The site has 329 bird species including spot-breasted ibis, olive ibis, long-tailed hawk, Nahan's francolin, black guinea fowl, sandy scops owl, Nkulengu rail, Bate's nightjar, black spinetail, bare-cheeked trogon, Bedford's paradise flycatcher, black-collared lovebird, lyre-tailed honeyguide, endemic yellow-legged weaver and the endemic golden-naped weaver.

The virunga National Park is notable for its chain of active volcanoes and the greatest diversity of habitats of any park in Africa: from steppes, savannas and lava plains, swamps, lowland and Afromontane forests, to the unique Afroalpine vegetation and icefields of the Ruwenzori mountains, which culminate in peaks above 5000m. The site includes the spectacular Ruwenzori and Virunga Massifs, including Africa's two most active volcanoes. The great diversity of habitats harbors an exceptional biodiversity, including endemic as well as rare and globally endangered species, such as the mountain gorillas.

The Kahuzi-Byega national park, this park is situated in the Eastern part of the DR of Congo, 50 km west of the town of Bukavu, near Lake Kivu and the Rwandan border. It consists of a smaller sector on the eastern side covering part of the Mitumba Mountains, and a larger western sector in the Congolese central basin. The two zones are connected by a narrow corridor. The entrance to the park is at Tshivanga, on the eastern side.

Finally the famous Garamba, which is situated in the district of Haut-Uélé in the north eastern corner of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, adjacent to the Sudanese border. Garamba adjoins Sudan's Lantoto National Park and is surrounded in the south, east and west by the Gangala-naBodio, Mondo Missa and Azande domains de chasse or hunting areas. The park's northern border is the watershed of the Nile and Congo Rivers. The total area of the Garamba complex is 12,427km2. Garamba provides excellent habitat for elephant as it offers abundant food and water resources. The elephant found here are believed to be a hybrid between the savannah species and the forest elephant.

Take a time to enjoy the parks of an endless beauty with so many animal species. All within the giant Democratic Republic of the Congo , the heart and the lung of Africa.

Tours the DRC,a country of endless marvels

The Democratic Republic of the Congo is a very large nation linking the four parts of Africa ,thus it naturally very rich and holding dozens and dozens of the african continent natural wealth .Marvels that exist in this part of the DRC include also the Virunga national park and the world only remaining mountain species, the mountain gorillas and the most interesting lake ,the green lake.
The Eastern Democratic republic of the Congo is the region known to be edged on the lake kivu, one of the international lakes that we find in africa .seeing this lake and the surrounding countrysides we see around it ,this really mean that this small area is a portion to the entire African great lakes region.Near the lakes we find a very pleasant countryside carrying a very beautiful view that give an attraction to the eyes. When we only arrive in the countryside like Goma, the capital city of the Eastern DR of the Congo we only conclude that everything that God has made is so awesome.

Virunga National Park is notable for its chain of active volcanoes and the greatest diversity of habitats of any park in Africa: from steppes, savannas and lava plains, swamps, lowland and Afromontane forests, to the unique Afroalpine vegetation and icefields of the Ruwenzori mountains, which culminate in peaks above 5000m. The site includes the spectacular Ruwenzori and Virunga Massifs, including Africa's two most active volcanoes. The great diversity of habitats harbors an exceptional biodiversity, including endemic as well as rare and globally endangered species, such as the mountain gorilla. In the southern section of the park, tectonic activity resulting from crustal extension of this area gave rise to the Virunga Massif, composed of eight volcanoes, of which seven are situated or partly situated in the park. These include Africa's two most active volcanoes, Nyamuragira and the neighboring Nyiragongo

To trek the Nyamulagira volcano site ended with the spectacular sight of several lava fountains shooting into the sky as a new eruption began next to the volcano’s embers. And Nyamulagira isn’t the only bad boy in the park: Nyiragongo, which last made news in 2002 when it destroyed a good deal of Goma, is also turning into a tourism hotspot. During the 2002 eruption the lava moved slowly enough to give most residents time to evacuate but 4,500 buildings were destroyed, 120,000 people were left homeless and much of the city, including the north end of the airport’s runway, was buried under two metres of molten mess.

Among amazing national parks of this country include the Salonga National Park which represents one of the very rare existing biotopes absolutely intact in central Africa. Moreover, it comprises vast marshland areas and practically inaccessible gallery forests, which have never been explored and may still be considered as practically virgin.
The plant and animal life in Salonga National Park constitute an example of biological evolution and the adaptation of life forms in a complex equatorial rainforest environment. The large size of the Park ensures the continued possibility for evolution of both species and biotic communities within the relatively undisturbed forest.
