UWA Receives Rain Ponchos from ESTOA to Support Bwindi Rangers
‎
‎Uganda Wildlife Authority has received 116 rain ponchos from Exclusive Sustainable Tour Operators Association Uganda (ESTOA) to support ranger operations in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
‎
‎The ponchos were handed over to UWA Executive Director Dr. James Musinguzi by ESTOA Chairman Byamukama Bonifence at UWA Headquarters. The support is aimed at improving the welfare and efficiency of Bwindi rangers who work daily in challenging forest conditions to protect wildlife and ensure visitor safety.

‎UWA appreciated ESTOA and its members, including Destination Jungle, for supporting conservation and sustainable tourism efforts in Uganda.

The Destination Jungle sales team recently conducted a 5-day familiarization trip across Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park to inspect lodges and camps we prepare to recommend and book for our clients.

The inspections focused on sustainability, service quality, conservation commitment, community engagement, and overall guest experience as Destination Jungle continues to strengthen partnerships with responsible tourism properties across Uganda. 🦓
