The forest tells a different story when you walk with the Batwa.
For generations, the Batwa lived closely with the forests of southwestern Uganda, depending on them for food, shelter, medicine, and identity.
Today, cultural visits offer a chance to listen, learn, and understand part of that history from the people who lived it.
It is not only about watching a performance.
It is about meeting people, hearing their stories, and seeing the forest through a different set of eyes.
Sometimes, the most memorable safari moments are the ones that bring you closer to people as much as wildlife.
