I am getting a lot of questions about Ebola in the Kibaale district in Uganda. Please notice that Kibaale district is far away from Kibale forest NP and something totally different. The word Kibale is confusing. It came to this because all people that used to live in the forest were moved to another place 150 kms away from the forest. Later on they divided a district and named the new one Kibaale after the people that now lived there coming from Kibale forest NP. This story was told to me by Uganda Wildlife Authority unofficially. Anyway: EBOLA IS NOT IN KIBALE FOREST NP. And furthermore the new cases are going down and WHO has corresponded that the situation is under control. So anybody coming to Kibale forest NP and Uganda shouldn't worry, please.
