DAY 2 โ€” ONE HOUR WITH THE GORILLAS ๐Ÿฆ

We finally found the Kyaguriro Group deep in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

For the next hour, we simply observed them, watching the male dominant silverback and the rest of the group in their natural habitat.

A truly unforgettable experience.

Before setting off, we received our briefing from Daniel, our Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) guide, who prepared us for the trek ahead.

Located in North-Eastern Uganda, north of Mount Elgon and East of Soroti, connected to Matheniko Game reserve by the Bokora Corridor, Pian-Upe is the second largest conservation area in Uganda after Murchison Falls National Park and home to a variety of mammal and bird species, some of which can only be found in the area.
