Twin lakes are found in western Uganda in Rubirizi district.locally they are called nyanza ibiri meaning two lakes.one is called kyema and another one kamweru .They are separated by small land with a road passing between the two.one has clear waters and another one with green Traditionally,these lakes have mysterious formation and geographically to have formed by vulcanicity.
