This is the story of the 𝗝𝗷𝗮𝗷𝗮 𝗕𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, where we started planting trees to fight drought, create shade, and support sustainable farming.
What began as a small project became a big shift - For the land and for the lives of the locals 💧🌳

Along with the development of a primary school,
a project for sustainable energy was started.
In the near future, we also want to provide vocational education
and create opportunities for independent entrepreneurship.
We have established and continue to fund a health
clinic for the local inhabitants in and around Ngoma

And here's the most beautiful part:

🗻 Fun Fact Friday: The "Old Man’s Teeth"🗻

Mount Sabyinyo, one of Rwanda’s five volcanoes, earned its nickname because of its jagged peaks. It looks like an old man’s worn teeth! 🦷😄
Unlike the smoother slopes of Karisimbi or Bisoke, this one’s got character, and it marks the meeting point of Rwanda, Uganda, and the DRC.

The majority of the volcanoes in Volcanoes National Park are either dormant (inactive but could potentially erupt in the future) or extinct (unlikely to erupt again).

Yes, lions climb trees! And in Uganda they’ve made it a habit🐾🌳

It is still not completely proven why the lions of Ishasha have adapted this rare behavior, but there are speculations:
𝟭. To avoid irritations by insects and bugs on the ground, like tsetse flies
𝟮. To escape the heat and get a nice little breeze

🌊 Ugandan Fact Friday: The way of the water 🌊

Murchison Falls squeezes the entire Nile River through a 7-meter (23-foot) gap, creating a thunderous explosion of water and mist and making it 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙!
The falls were named after Sir Roderick Murchison, a 19th-century geologist.

Murchison Falls National Park covers nearly 4,000 square kilometers, making it the largest protected area in Uganda. The park includes savannah, rainforest, wetlands, and riverine forests, meaning it supports a wide variety of species!

You can take a boat cruise to the base of the falls and hike to the top. An unforgettable experience where you can stand at the edge of the powerful torrent.

The Waterbuck got its name for a reason💧🦌
These antelopes are rarely far from water and are surprisingly strong swimmers! You’ll often spot them cooling off near rivers in Murchison Falls or Queen Elizabeth National Park.
