The most striking feature on the hyena is the legs: the front legs are much longer than the hind legs. This gives hyenas their distinctive walk, making them seem like they're always limping uphill. Yet hyenas are agile and can run, trot, and walk with ease.

As we all know it is very rare for lions to climb trees, the ones found in the queen Elizabeth Park are a rare case as it is hard to find climbing lions anywhere else as evident as it is here. The tree climbing lions are uniquely built and as they laze around the trees, you will be able to enjoy watching these big cats as you drive through the Park. The lions can be seen sitting in the trees while digesting their food and also spotting the little animals that move around the park while plotting for their next hunt.

Did you know lions will use their roar to ward off potential intruders, and/or to protect their territory and their pride. Sometimes they'll even roar as a way of talking with other lions, and their roars can reach up to 114 decibels—the same noise level as a chainsaw or a snowmobile.

Discover the magical feeling that comes with being close to the Big cats and nature in general😃. Did you know, Lionesses are the primary hunters. They are smaller, more agile than males and use teamwork to bring an animal down. After a successful hunt, all the lions in the pride share the meal. There is a pecking order, with adult males eating first, followed by the lionesses and finally the cubs.

The giraffes' height and excellent vision give them a wide view of the grasslands where they live, making it easy to spot predators from a distance. Some scientists believe that other animals—such as zebras, antelope, and wildebeests—often congregate near giraffes to take advantage of their ability to see danger from a distance. The giraffe could be considered the early warning system of the African grasslands.

Elephants ,bufallos, bush bucks, waterbucks ,giant forest hogs, crocodiles, monitor lizards, the shore birds and savannah birds. The channel is more productive in dry seasons than wet seasons as it's the main source of water to animals in queen especially in dry seasons.wet seasons animals still have water in done pools in the national park that's why a few will be coming for a drink. Also sightings of heynas, leopards and lions are there but chances to see them a slim.
