BREAKING – the mountain gorilla is no longer listed as Critically Endangered!

Thanks to incredible conservation efforts and positive engagement from local communities, this iconic subspecies has dropped down a level on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, from Critically Endangered to Endangered. Numbers are still only around 1,000, but are believed to be on the rise.

It's a sad day for wildlife today as the last male northern white rhino ( Sudan) dies in Kenya!
Now left is just his daughter and granddaughter...
That means the race will be no more, since there is no male for reproduction. You will be missed dearly Sudan!
