The Rothschild Giraffe is also referred to as the Uganda Giraffe or the Baringo Giraffe. It is the tallest giraffe in the world and the tallest animal as well. A fully grown Rothschild giraffe can weigh up to 2800 pounds and measure up to 20 feet (6 meters) in height. The males are often much heavier than the females.

THE CRESTED CRANE:
Uganda's National Emblem

This beautiful bird is commonly called the 'Crested Crane'. It is a bird of national significance to Uganda, occupying a prime position on the country's national flag and coat of arms. The Crested Crane has been Uganda's symbol for nearly 100 years. It is a tall bird standing well over three feet, on long-slender black legs.
