Every safari trip you make to any African Safari nations makes a difference.

A portion of your payment on park entrance permits caters for these beloved big cats.

Africa's lion population is drastically declining, estimated around 20,000-25,000, down from 200,000 a century ago, facing threats like habitat loss and human conflict, pushing them to 'Vulnerable' status

Although, African lions are in serious trouble, focused conservation, community engagement, and protecting key habitats offer hope for their survival.

A wonder to behold when out of water during day time!

The African hippo (Hippopotamus amphibius) is a massive, semi-aquatic mammal, the third-largest land animal, spend days in water to stay cool and grazing on grass at night.

They are powerful, territorial, and are one of Africa's most dangerous animals due to their incredible speed on land, immense strength, large teeth, and aggressive nature, especially when threatened or protecting young, despite their herbivorous diet.

An evening safari drive provides a distinctive glimpse into the African wilderness that daytime tours simply cannot offer.

In some areas, up to 70% of wildlife is nocturnal, making an evening drive your best opportunity to observe these elusive creatures.

Predators such as lions and leopards, which tend to rest during the day to escape the heat, become much more active as the temperatures cool down.

This experience transforms from being solely visual to a thrilling multi-sensory adventure.

The lesser flamingo is a species of flamingo occurring in sub-Saharan Africa and western India. They are the least pink or orange of all the flamingo species.

Despite being the most common species of flamingo, it is classified as near threatened due to its declining population and the low number of breeding sites, some of which are threatened by human activities.

Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) hosts primarily these lesser flamingos especially around the alkaline explosion crater lakes of Munyanyange, Katwe, and Bunyampaka, with the best viewing between October and April when they migrate from other regions.

Viewing flamingos in QENP offers a unique experience, often combined with salt mining tours at Lake Katwe, making it a prime destination for birdwatchers in Uganda.

A beautiful and cozy campfire is always a delight to have on a safari to Africa, particularly East Africa.

While most lodges will be eager to offer this service, a good tour operator will ensure you always have this experience whenever you need one.
