A Crested Crane is friendly, gentle and peace a peace-loving bird. Its nature sweetly matches with that the life of the Ugandan people that's why it was chosen as Uganda's National symbol.
They can dance and flap their wings when you sing for them, traditionally in the western region of Bunyoro Kitara kingdom there is a specific folk song when it is sung in the presence of a crested crane, it dances.
