Association of Uganda Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Tourism and Hospitality (AUSMETHO) is a membership Non-Governmental Organization which was established in 2006 to promote formation of public private partnerships with key stakeholders of tourism industry in harmonizing line SMEs' challenges.
The association brings together, all the small and medium scale enterprises in tourism and hospitality in Uganda under one umbrella. It aims at promoting and setting standards of services among its members.
The enterprises under consideration range from Micro, small and medium scale business. These include; lodges, bars and pubs restaurants, handicraft makers, curio shops, hotels, publishers, boutiques, saloons, tour operators, travel agents, internet cafes etc. The association acts as a custodian for all Uganda's tourism enterprises information.
