The Senegal lapwing || Vanellus lugubris || is known for its unique nesting behaviors, similar to other members of the Charadriiformes order.

These birds typically lay 1 to 2 eggs in a carefully constructed ground nest. After an incubation period of approximately two weeks, the eggs will hatch, bringing new life into the world. The attentive care during incubation is crucial for the survival of the chicks, ensuring they are well-protected until they are ready to fledge.

HIDEEN TREASURE OF SURVIVAL
Lake Katwe is one of the oldest industries that survived the Western imperialism even yet the then colonial masters tried to develop the industry, their success is still their regret. Supporting over 70% of the local people’s livelihoods for decades, Lake Katwe is an iconic footmark to 1000s of Ugandans that have excelled in their academic career after being supported by the money their parents earn from the salt business, even though their earning encounter depends on strength like Lions in the jungle. But all this have not excluded the beautiful view the lake offers and the golden opportunity for both professional and unprofessional photographers to unveil the undeniable beauty of this iconic landscape.
